On Solo, Fit can move without rewriting every Score.

Misano

When your strategy brief or Knowledge Base moves, Misano can change Strategy Fit without rewriting the Score. What happens next to Watching, Passed, and Portfolio depends on the plan — especially on Solo.

Fit can move without a Score rewrite

  • Score (0–100, five dimensions) answers how strong the company is. Strategy Fit is a separate 0–3 axis — not a sixth weight. Detail: misano.ai/guides/strategy-fit-is-not-the-score.
  • A brief or Knowledge Base change can update Fit without rewriting the Score. That split is deliberate: thesis match and company quality are different questions.
  • New analyses after the change use the current strategy model. Names already in the book keep what they had until something rescored or re-analysed them.

What Solo keeps — and what it does not

  • Solo (€39/mo billed annually) does not include retroactive rescoring of the Watching/Passed pile when strategy or Knowledge Base changes. Boutique (€199/mo annual) and Institutional (€699/mo annual) do. Pricing: misano.ai/pricing. Buried no: misano.ai/guides/the-buried-no.
  • On Solo, Watching and Passed keep prior Scores until a new analysis. They are not a trash folder — they stay in the book — but the pile does not silently rewrite itself after a thesis move.
  • If a name still matters after you change the thesis, run a new analysis against the current strategy. Do not read an old Score as if it already absorbed the new brief.

Portfolio vs Watching/Passed

  • Portfolio can rescore holdings against the current thesis. The thesis you bought at is not automatically the thesis you hold now. Pipeline stages: misano.ai/guides/deal-pipeline-and-scoring.
  • That Portfolio path is separate from plan-gated retroactive rescoring of Watching/Passed. Holdings you own and names you watched or passed are different jobs.
  • Weights live on the strategy; defaults are Finance-heavy. Changing weights does not silently rewrite every old Score either. Weights guide: misano.ai/guides/default-finance-heavy-score-weights.

What this is not

  • Not a claim that Solo secretly rescored Watching/Passed after a thesis move. It does not.
  • Not a promise that Fit 3 means buy, or that old passes become buys after re-analysis.
  • Not a UI click-path walkthrough. This guide states the product behaviour, not invented menus.

Frequently asked

01

Can Fit change without rewriting the Score?

Yes. When the brief or Knowledge Base moves, Fit can update without a Score rewrite. Score and Fit are separate axes. Detail: misano.ai/guides/strategy-fit-is-not-the-score.

02

What happens to Watching and Passed Scores on Solo after a thesis move?

They keep prior Scores until a new analysis. Solo does not include retroactive Watching/Passed rescoring. Boutique and Institutional do. Pricing: misano.ai/pricing.

03

Can Portfolio still be rescored on Solo?

Portfolio can rescore holdings against the current thesis. That is separate from plan-gated retroactive rescoring of Watching/Passed.

04

What should I do on Solo when the thesis moves?

Treat old Watching/Passed Scores as snapshots from the prior model. Re-analyse names that still matter against the current strategy. Do not assume the pile auto-updated.
